Ashley at The boston bar

The Boston Bar is beginning a new chapter under the ownership of Ashley Gaughan, who has been part of the local community since she was born. With family roots going back to Ireland — her mum moved to the area from Limerick — Ashley has always had a strong connection to the people and community around the pub.

Having worked in hospitality locally for many years, Ashley knows the importance of a good local: somewhere people can drop in for a drink, meet friends, enjoy good food, listen to live music, watch the match and, most importantly, feel welcome.

The Boston Bar is also home to Noi’s Thai Kitchen, run by Noi, who serves authentic Thai food, prepared with the flavours and character of Thailand at its heart. Alongside the Thai kitchen, you’ll also find popular favourites including spice bags and Thai tapas, giving visitors plenty of choice whether you’re settling in for a meal or simply looking for something to enjoy with a drink.
